The resDNASEQ™ Human Residual DNA Fragment Analysis Kit (qPCR) use TaqManTM quantitative PCR to perform rapid, specifc quantitation of femtogram levels of residual host-cell or plasmid DNA. This kit employs qPCR with TaqMan®-based fluorescent hydrolysis probes for highly specific and sensitive detection of DNA fragments at four defined amplicon sizes: 66 bp, 150 bp, 200 bp, and 528 bp. Notably, the qPCR amplification efficiency approaches 100%, even for longer DNA fragments, ensuring reliable detection and quantitation of residual DNA throughout bioprocess development and quality control. The assay is accurate and reliable across a broad range of sample types, from in-process samples to final product.

Description

This kit employs qPCR with TaqMan®-based fluorescent hydrolysis probes for highly specific and sensitive detection of DNA fragments at four defined amplicon sizes: 66 bp, 150 bp, 200 bp, and 528 bp. To generate the standard curve used to quantitate the DNA in test samples, Each Fragment assay requires five dilutions. DNA control from Human cells (Human DNA Control) is included in the kit. In addition, the kits use an internal positive control (IPC) to evaluate the performance of each PCR reaction. UDG enzyme is used in this kit to avoid the contamination of amplification products.
