Pichia pastoris is recognized as an important protein-producing host and plays a major role in the production of industrial enzymes and pharmaceutical proteins. However, the manufacturing and purification process of these products leaves the potential for residual DNA contamination from the host cells.

The resDNASEQ Pichia pastoris Residual DNA Quantitation kit is designed for the quantification of residual DNA from Pichia pastoris, in cell lines which are used for production of biopharmaceutical products.

Fig 1. Only three steps will be need for Sample Preparation and only 20 minitutes will be taken for Sample Preparation.

Fig 2. Five concentration Pichia pastoris samples of 3fg/ÎĽL-300pg/ÎĽL were detected. Regression coefficient was closed to 0.99989. Amplification efficiency is 100.192% .

Fig 3. The CV of concentration values of samples with 3fg/ÎĽL and above concentrations were less than 30%. The accuracy deviation is within 30%.

Fig 4. Recoveries for actual samples were consistently within the acceptable range of 70%–130%.
